      1. Fallout 3 looks great
      2. Fable 2 something my GF can play with me
      3. The force Unleashed

These r the ones I plan on buying, as for a lot of the other one that r coming out for the X-Box 360, I will wait and see how the reviews of the actual products are.

To have Animal Crossing on the list, and not even mention Resident Evil 5 makes no sense at all.

I'm with Gin D. How could you leave out Diablo 3? The news release had fans screaming with excitement. I think this article should have been called CONSOLE games we can't wait to play. They clearly overlooked PC games. Not that I'm a Wow fan, but do you realize how many millions of people are itching to play the new Shadow Knight in WoW's Rise of the Lich King expansion? Come on, where's the story on the PC games?

        Umm, Spore and Fable2?

I can understand maybe Fallout3, Diablo 3, Resident Evil falling outside the top 5, but Spore? Maybe the only excuse is that it's been so over-publicized that it really isn't an E3 announcement anymore?

I noticed that a lot of the top 5s, not to mention gaming articles in general, tend to leave out the PC market. Earlier this morning I posted on an article where the author was bemusing the possible death of the gaming genre, that it may be a "fad" etc. But the author didn't look into MMOs.

With the number of MMO subscribers (10 million+ on WoW alone, 721,000+ signed up for beta testing on WAR etc), I really don't think gaming is going anywhere.

Pertaining to this discussion, I have to be one of the fanatics screaming about leaving out D3. People STILL play D2 because they love it so much--that's transcending time; and I'm sure D3 will be amazing. But come on, Rock Band 2? The first one came out, what, last year? I'm not really anticipating more of the same that's been thrown at me in the last few years. D3 though? Now that's anticipation.

I am waiting to play God of Wa 3. I am more excited about how its story will turn out rather than actual gameplay. It'll be great.

Battlefield 3!!!! Lets hope EA brings to the table what they did with Battle field 2.....YES another PC game! Console games leave me.......wanting more. Why buy a console to play a few titles when I can do that and more with my PC!

I wish that MSNBC would hire some people who know video games instead of the people like Ken Smith, and the other ladies that can not seem to write anything worth reading.

God of War 3 for the PS3 will be one of the bigger games, espically if it comes out and uses the Cell Processor as well as it used the Ps2. One could argue that God of War 2 looks better than half the PS3 games out right now.

Fallout three has a huge following. FF

Looking forward to Spore. Hard to believe that MSNBC didn't mention it. Guess if it's not a console game it's not worth a darn.

Sopre is eagerly awaited by many people.
